OEM Sales Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
Manage relationship with customers to achieve annual sales objectives. Develop and implement sales plans for achieving sales objectives.
POSITION DUTIES
- Assist management in developing marketing & sales strategies for specific product line and market segments.
- Lead team selling efforts in pursuit of new business development; including site visits, presentations and negotiations.
- Assembly technical/commercial proposal data.
- Make customer presentations.
- Develop product knowledge of specified company product.
- Serve as a consultant/resource to the customer because of your knowledge, experience and reputation as a problem solver.
- Provide feedback on competitive pricing and strategy.
- Makes sales calls on customers.
- Be cognizant of antitrust laws and company policies.
- Provide technical assistant to customers in the selection, application
- Train inside sales support staff to identify and customer programs for high potential customers, including pricing, terms, inventory and customer service.
- Be aware of, and responsive to, market conditions and competitive activities, Communicate such information to the operating divisions.
- Collect, analyze and utilize market intelligence date on customer needs, preferences and buying habits, as well as that of competitive manufacturers.
- Provide necessary reports, surveys and marketing information in a timely manner, as requested by your manager.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

SCOPE, PURPOSE & FREQUENCY OF CONTACTS
- Daily contact with customers
- Daily contact with Inside Sales & Associate Sales Representatives
- Daily contact via phone and written correspondence with TWMC Marketing personnel.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Experience Required)
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, Engineering or Industrial Distribution) from four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training selling technical products or services or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous management experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members for the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or board of directors.
